Who is behind this site?
Chris Malton is the lead developer and editor, but anyone with an account can add and edit events. So in a sense, it's not just Chris' calendar, it is everyone's calendar.
Why does this site exist?
This site is run as an unofficial calendar of all paintball events in the UK (and some international events of interest). Chris felt that a centralised resource would be incredibly useful to event organisers, and players when deciding which events to go to, and where to place events in the calendar. It was also aimed at providing the most comprehensive collection of information about events up and down the UK. From walkons, to scenario games, to tournaments, all should be on an equal footing in the calendar.
Why should I register?
Registration gives you access to some of the more useful features of the calendar. You can opt to be notified of new events in your area, be reminded when tickets go on sale, and get assistance planning your route. You'll also be able to contribute as soon as you have an account.
Why are my events not showing?
Once you submit an event for inclusion, you'll have to wait for one of the moderation team to approve the event. This often happens quickly, but not always. You'll therefore have to wait until this approval process completes before you will be able to view the even on the public calendars.
Why is <insert-item-name-here> out of date/has the wrong information?
This calendar is only as up to date as the contributors make it. If you notice something wrong, please register for an account (if you haven't already), and then log in and edit the item that's wrong. The changes will show up once they've been approved.
